The Punjab School Education Department has launched the School Teaching Intern (STI) Jobs 2025 program starting from November 7, 2025. Both male and female candidates across Punjab can apply online through the official portal sti.pesrp.edu.pk. The program offers a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 45,000 and aims to fill temporary vacancies in primary, elementary, secondary, and higher secondary schools. Interested applicants must submit their online forms before the last date, November 20, 2025. This initiative not only addresses the shortage of teachers but also provides young, educated individuals with a valuable opportunity to gain teaching experience and prepare for future careers in education.

STI Jobs 2025 Phase 2 Apply Online @ STI Portal

The Punjab School Education Department has announced the launch of STI Jobs 2025 Phase 2, with applications now open through the official STI Portal. While candidates from Phase 1 will continue their jobs, nearly 25,000 new STIs will be selected under this phase. The hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) is non-transferable and will be made on a purely temporary basis in specific schools. Each selected STI may serve for a period of up to nine months (excluding summer vacations), under the terms and conditions outlined in the official agreement (Annexure-A). This initiative provides aspiring teachers with a golden opportunity to gain professional experience while addressing teacher shortages in Punjab schools.

Eligibility Criteria for STI Jobs Phase 2

All aspiring candidates (Men, Women, and Transgenders) are eligible to apply under the following conditions:

1. High & Higher Secondary Level

• Qualification: M.A / M.Sc / BS (Hons) in relevant subject

• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years

• Experience: Fresh candidates can apply (teaching experience preferred)

• Preference: Candidates with professional qualifications (B.Ed / M.Ed)

2. Elementary Level

• Qualification: M.A / M.Sc / BS (Hons) / B.A / B.Sc

• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years

• Experience: Fresh candidates can apply (teaching experience preferred)

• Preference: Candidates with B.Ed

3. Primary Level

• Qualification: Minimum B.A / B.Sc

• Age Limit: 21 to 45 years

The School Teaching Interns (STI) Jobs 2025 Phase 2 advertisement will be published on 7 November 2025, and the last date to apply is 20 November 2025. The merit list will be displayed on 25 November, followed by interviews on 30 November 2025. The entire recruitment process will be completed within November, and the selected STIs will officially begin their duties in schools across Punjab from November 2025. This timely process ensures that teaching vacancies are filled before the new academic session begins.

Selection Process

1. Need Assessment

• The Principal/Head of the school will assess the requirement for hiring School Teaching Interns (STIs).

• This is done in consultation with two School Management Committee (SMC) members, nominated by the DDEO.

2. Advertisement of Vacancies

• The Principal/Head will ensure wide publication of available STI vacancies.

• Vacancies will be shared through:

  • Local newspapers

  • Official website

  • School/Department social media pages

  • Notice boards of DDEO/DEO/CEO offices

3. Application Submission

• Candidates must apply online through the official STI portal.

• The link to the portal will be shared in the vacancy announcement.

4. Scrutiny & Merit List

• Applications and academic documents will be scrutinized by the school.

• Candidates will be ranked as per defined criteria.

• Merit list will be:

  • Uploaded on the portal

  • Displayed on the school notice board

5. Interviews

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

• Interview call letters will be issued at least 3 days before the interview date.

• The interview schedule will also be displayed at the school and DDEO/DEO/CEO offices.

6. Hiring Letter

• After final selection, the list of successful candidates (with marks) will be uploaded on the portal and displayed on notice boards.

• The Principal/Head will issue the hiring letter to selected candidates within 3 days of the final merit list.

7. Next-in-Merit

• If a selected STI withdraws or is disqualified at any stage, the next candidate in merit will be offered the position.
